Today's Reading:
Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.


My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.


He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.


The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Following today's Meeting we heard From Carolyn McMullan, the Youth Officer for Ireland Yearly Meeting, who talked about the recent developments in Quaker youth work.

These included  a Leadership Training Course, scheduled for 4th-6th March which will be held in Churchtown.

Future activities include a junior youth club (ages 10-13 years) to be held on 12.02.11 at Churchtown, and an bowling evening for the 14+ age group at Stillorgan on the same night, (cost €6.50). Please contact Carolyn for further information.
