We meet every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. - visitors are always very welcome!

We hope that this blog will provide basic information for anyone interested in our form of worship and will also give up to date information about the life of our meeting for both visitors and members. Pilgrim's Progress - a talk on the Camino de Santiago

Earlier this year Padraic walked part of the medieval pilgrimage route, the 'Camino de Santiago de Compostela', - you can read more about this by following the 'Padraic Murray: Pilgrim' in the 'links' section on the right, or by clicking HERE.
Padriac will be giving a talk about his experiences of the Camino on Wednesday evening the 5th of October at 7.30pm in the Friends Meeting House in Monkstown, to which everyone is very warmly invited. Some of the topics will include:
  • Why go on the Camino?
  • A (very) short history of the Camino.
  • How long does it take?
  • A religious or spiritual experience?
  • People we met.
  • Poetry in motion.
  • The countryside, flora and fauna.
  • Towns and villages, some cities too.
  • Magic moments - camino moments
  • The Quaker connection
We'll post another reminder nearer the time, but meanwhile, please make a note of this for your diaries!
